Bye + Hello!

Yesterday Cashrun just hold our Farewell + Welcome BBQ @ Wei's place!! =) I really enjoyed myself alot!~ Welcoming our German colleagues -Stephaine, Uli & Linda! Farewell Dear for his NS. =(

Well, I went office at 11am yesterday, had lunch at 12.30pm. When the clock hits 4pm, everyone of us started to pack up our things and went for a groceries spree @ BTP's NTUC! We bought all the food and drinks and head to Wei's place to prepare the bbq! The ladies helped out in the preparation of food, marinating the prawns and corns with some movies talk, while the guys are playing their computer games -.-" (should have just taken some photos)

Soon, the gentlemen came out to start the fire while the ladies uses our eye power! Wahahaha! and ta-dang! food came non-stop while the ladies talked non-stop! =) I really had a great time chit-chatting with all of them. Well, all of us are attached with bfs working in Cashrun, we definitely can clinque. Haha! Alice - Wei's fiancee, Castine - Calvin's gf and Elaine - Javier's Gf. All of us talked til almost 1am.. *-* Hehehe! Yes, we talked about everything, everything AND everything! =) Looking forward for the next meet-up!

On the day of chinese Valentine's Day, the both of us decided to catch a movie.. "The Proposal". And we watched it at our favourite cinema, GV Max! :) Needless to comment anything on the movie, everyone who watched would definitely give a 3-4 star.. The movie stars were great, they can really act! :) Love the movie..

乱啊！

Ever since SOT graduation, i've been pondering on which institute to pursue my certificate and diploma on Early Childhood.. My reason on pursuing a certificate first is to build up a strong foundation. And as i was serving the net to find the best institute that fits my requirements, the course fees seems to be so high! And for me to earn til the amount of money.. i think i'll faint first. -.-!!

Thoughts came across my mind to give up Early Childhood and picked up other dips, since Im still young.. I seems to be interested in everything. Lol! I just called up the school, ICEC (Institute Centre for Early Childhood)/ Nanyang Institute of Management, checking on the next intake, it will be March 2010.. I pray that by then, i'll have MORE than enough finances to pursue my studies..

Another alternative is to study at GIG, Diploma in Education Studies..

Fri+Sat!

Both Dear and I decided to catch this movie after our CG yesterday as both of our CG meetings were located at Bedok North. :) So i met him after my CG and drove off to Vivocity. Many told us that the show is not nice and the rating is bad blah blah blah.. But both of us to support Jack Neo and we went ahead. Thinking that is a horror+humor show, thats why we dare to watch it midnight. Yes, its funny, but the humorous part was so little that half the show i was grabbing Dear's arm and covering my face with my hands, peeping through my fingers. The funny part was, when i turned my head to Dear and peeped at him, he was also using his hand to cover his face. Haha! So you can imagine how scaredy cats they both of are.. Overall, the show was alright. I still enjoyed myself and the story line. Still, its Jack Neo! :) There still carries a storyline in every of his productions.

This morning I pushed myself to wake up early and went to JurongVille SS for GB. Well, we started with drills and i got Agnes and Olivier to take them instead as i was having some cough. So i went to prepare their spiritual badge staff.. The P&W and the 2 parables that i'm going to share with them. As im the only officer who can make it for this week, there were no guitar for P&W.. Well, its super weird.. By hook or by crook, we managed to do it. Haha! So glad the girls beared with me. Then i continued to share with them about the parable to the good samaritian & the parable of the prodigal son, got them to write down their thoughts and what have they learnt, pretty good! :)

Well, next week, the girls will be combined with the HongKah Sec GB and Im gonna take the both company for drills. Hopefully everything turns out great :)

Panic Attack..

I always say, after one panic attack, you will be scared of having the next one.

I had my second one today.. Right now Im still feeling dizzy and nausea, tightness of chest, my limbs feel numb and a slight headache.

Thank God mine is only a minor attack, but i guess i'll really never want to experience it again.

During the entire attack, i was praying to God, please relief me. I could hardly talk.. But after this attack, i made a decision: Always put my emotions based on God. If i didnt focus on my own emotion just now, the attack will not have happened...

6th day being sick..

The symptons started last wednesday. It all started with a minor flu and sore throat. Until Friday, i developed a fever. But i still remained strong and went on to Sat's graduation svc to support. Sunday morning had a high fever, sore throat and cough.. I had to pull through the day as i'm graduating. When i reached home, i vomitted and went to get some sleep. Supposed to meet my team with Afeno and Uyi for the last dinner before they go back to KL then to Nigeria and UK, i wasnt able to make it as i was having fever, 38.6 degrees. Dear quickly brought me to the clinic.

The doctor say that he cant confirm if its not H1N1 as i had all the symptons, neither did he say i had it. He didnt give me any Tamiflu tablets, but stronger and drowsy medication with 2 days MC.

Today is my 2nd day MC, but my fever went up to 39 degrees this morning. I couldnt even send David off in the Airport, was feeling bits of regrets.

God, I pray that you will make me well 100%. I need to be healthy to do your will and ministry. Heal me Lord!

Finally..

Finally.. I'm able to blog properly. Last few days, all the singnet users encountered the same problem of unable to upload photos etc on our blogs. All the tabs were in a mess!

If you are a singnet user, you can try this on your IE 7.0:

Tools -> Internet Options
Click on "Connections" page tab
Click on "LAN Settings" button (if you are using Broadband)
Check "Use a proxy server for your LAN ..." checkbox
Click on "Advanced" button
Under HTTP type, input "proxy.singnet.com.sg" for proxy address and "8080" for port

It really helps! :D

Nowadays, Singnet is really lousy.. Causing FB to be so laggy, cant comment & "like" the status, photos etc. Brrr...

A wave of Revival!

Sometimes, the right thing to do is to take that first irreversible step, the one after which you cannot go back. And now, for you, is one of those times.

Well, last few weeks during SOT, God gave me a vision as well as a burden of the Jwest people in my cg. When i caught the vision, there were some struggles in my heart. I was thinking is it really from God or I'm just thinking about them. In fact, i was waiting and hoping for God's confirmation, and I didnt want to share with others first. Til one day, i was in the office with Dear. So i began to talk to him about my cg and things like that, and i shared with him the vision. I also asking for his advice, so he said: "Why dont you share with Carine this?" I didnt reply much, but my heart was full of uncertainties and fear. Haha! Soon, i pluck out my courage and called her. I was still a bit hesitate about it. But after talking to her, i felt so much better. :)

Yesterday Carine and I were talking about this in Mac.. And i was really encouraged by what she told me. I told myself that, i will make a decision to step out and take up the challenge. Even if the revival may not happen, at least i took a step to try and I'm gonna do my best!

Truly God is gonna bring the Revival in CHC as well as the CG, running the vision with Pastor! Holding on to the prophesy during the 20th anniversary!

2 more days..

Last night i met up with WenChin and Venuss for BS. This is really funny... I met them at 8pm and we ended around 10plus! And we didnt even finish one lesson, GS L1~! Haha! I was still happy because most of the time they're doing the sharing. They were sharing about their lives and family, it was really great to know more about them. :) Looking forward for the next BS with them! :)

Tomorrow will be the last 2nd day of SOT.. To talk about it, this is the only time i want school to extend.. Like what Addy said today: "Well, at the start of SOT, I'm really looking forward to my birthday and i know that it near the end of SOT.. But few weeks back, i was wanting my birthday to come slower cause i know its going to be the end of SOT.." Haha! For a moment, i was telling myself, "Stop it please, if not i will cry again.."

But, i mean really, I'm gonna miss all of them.. The fellowship, the fun, joy, laughter, the Sihui's car buddies, the mission trip team, how we were being ministered together, the JOY of the LOrd!, haha! But still, im looking forward for the Commissioning session tomorrow with Pst Kong! :)

Graduation Night!

One more week left to graduate from SOT. Purposely change my blog skin to celebrate the occasion. :) Looks cool and nicee!

Just had our Graduation Night on Friday. It was a glamorous dinner with all the lighting and dancing. LOL! Uyi, Afeno, Prosper, Issac, Addy and SK definitely enjoyed the most during the dance. Hahaha!

The whole day was just busy and tiring. We had exams and lessons in the morning, followed by make up course with Cindy, helped her with few things. Then Wahju, Wendy, Jie Ying and myself dolled ourselves up. Yea! *Pretty Babes* JieYing looked so different with the dress and make up. Hahaha, within 30 mins, she was transformed!:D

After that, SK came to fetched us to The Keppel Club for our dinner! Hmm, the food was not that excepted, little and not nice. Soon, we had our Mr Charisma and Ms Charisma competition. And! MR Charisma goes to Mr Peter, the most fashionable and loud man in SOT. Happy for him! :D

After the dinner, we went to the Keppel Bay to enjoy the breeze and sight. It was a beautiful place especially for dating couples. Haha! Super nice and romantic! :) After much fellowship-ping, Afeno gathered everyone of us, sang a song and shared something with us. It was so touching and i teared.

One more week left and the overseas students will be going back to their own countries. Really cant bear to see them leave so soon. :( Im really gonna miss them like mad!

Army Daze...

Dear got his PES status few days back.. He received his letter with the confirmed and details PES last night when i went his house for dinner. We sat down and opened it together. The feeling in my heart was indescribable. Should i be happy or should i be sad? But of course, i know, its one step nearer for him to be a REAL man! LOL! And i should rejoice in that.. Especially if he can cut down some kilos and inches around his sexy and lovable stomach!

I'll definitely miss him a lot a lot. I love you dear! :)

Busy Busy!!

SOT is coming to an end... 5 months went pass so fast, i havent even finish enjoying my honeymoon with the Lord. LOL!

Anyway, its gonna get busy and busy and busy!
