MJ's This Is It

YAYness! We're catching this movie on 4/11/09 [9.40pm].. The reason why we booked such a date is because we're afraid we need to plan our time well, don wanna clash with the preparation for Hallow'n Land & WYZ Family Day.

The thing is we booked the tickets on my birthday. [Dear was afraid the tix will be out of stock] Haha! Waited for almost 3 weeks to catch this. Counting down to 4/11/09....

And we are sitting here! [red seats]

Oolong Tea

The benefits of Oolong Tea:
  1. Act as antioxidants.
  2. Promote weight loss.
  3. Promote heart health.
  4. Treat skin disorders.
  5. Complement diabetes treatment.
  6. Reduce high blood pressure.
  7. Inhibit bacteria. Prevent tooth decay.
I've been urging Dear to drink this everyday with me. Even bought 2 bottles for him to bring along with him in Army this morning. Haha! Even reminded him this morning to do so. Both of us need better health. :D

Well, and of course the word: "weight loss" is so important. Due to Dear's medical reports, doctor advise him to take only light sports such as swimming. So other than swimming, drinking oolong tea is also a solution. Hehe.

Shall buy a bottle back for my sisters tonight and force them to drink finish. Ha!

A trip to the Clinic

After the clinic, Dear & myself had a hilarious laugh.

This was what happened:

We went in the room, Doctor Huang greeted us (as usual, the unusual thing is, its not Dr Tang). We took a seat and he asked multiple questions, just like how others will do. Dear had diarrhea the day before, explained to him.

D.H ask, "So do you have any drug allergy?"

Dear: "Yes, Cataflam"

(Doctor gave a shock look and turned to his side, took out his book.. And we were wondering what was he doing.)

D.H: "Oh cataflam, that means you can't take a lot of medicine. Actually cataflam is also know as Diclofenac."

[We were wondering what is that.. So chimology.. Never heard that before]

D.H: "It's the same as cataflam, just a more specific term"

[WHAT? Do we need to know that? lol] speechless

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

D.H: Ok, i'll prescribe you medicine. *forgotten what's the name of the medicine* It's like soft powder yakult. So it's very good for your stomach.

You hold on ah, let me check the price for you.

(He turned to his side and took out his file..) -.-"

We looked at each other and controlling our laughter. Finally out of the room, we burst into laughter! I wonder if he's normal or are the both of abnormal.

What a strange doctor. :P Dr Tang is still the best doctor. :)

Cut your fringe?

I was thinking to cut my fringe myself or go to my hairstylist and cut. And i found this video! Found it super useful & easy! Shall cut it myself from now on. Hehe! Can save a lot of money! Wheeew!

October!!!

Wheeew! October is here! This is the month that every year i'm waiting for. Hehe!

Full of parties & pressies! There are always a lot of October babies around me, including myself. :)

However, this year is a bit different. Every October, i love good food on my birthdays, buffets on friends' birthdays & parties. But I was inspired by Carine's sms and decided to have a 30 days vege-fast. I guess its really a time of sacrifice and renewing my commitments to Him, & of course surrendering every bit & pieces of my life to God. -my cg, ministry, job, studies, relationships, family, health etc etc.

Today is the 6th day of my fast. Do pray for me too.

Anyway, i'm so excited for my birthday. Daddy is coming back, hopefully with brother. Hehe, i really miss him loads. He went Jakarta for 2 months! Cant wait to see him.

Few months back, dear also told me that he has already been planning for my bday. Just cant wait for surprises! =)

Choice made!

Its October, the 10th month of the year. Time is really going fast.

Was inspired by what Gladys posted, October is simply the 10th month of the year and entering 3/4, the last 3 months of the 2009. So technically, we are supposed to fulfill 3/4 of the goals which we had set for the year.

If this is a question for me, i haven't fulfill them yet. I guess the common line we will always say is, "I've still have time." There goes the same for me as well.

Scenario #1

During my company BBQ, my colleagues' gfs and i will always gather together and chit chat. And we were talking about education as Cas is going to start her Degree in SIM soon. El is registrating for her degree too. Being the youngest in the group, i haven't even completed my Diploma. Worse still, still thinking to pursue which course. -.-"

One of the reasons why i chosen not to enter Poly and decided to take private diploma courses is so that im able to complete my studies fast and work. But exactly 1 yr had passed and here I am, only completed SOT. Lol. In fact, I've not regretted entering SOT. :)

I was sharing with them that i've not completed Diploma. They were saying that, "Actually you still have time, you're still young ma." Then i was thinking myself, Eh, they're not wrong, im still quite young for studies. (well, right now, i feel that its a BIG excuse) Many of my friends just completed Yr 1 of Poly, they still have 2 more years to complete their course. So, technically, i've 2 more years to completed my course too. -The response of procrastination.

Starting a Diploma course, educating myself is one of my goals set for this year, but i guess i've to wait one more year to fulfill it.

I thank God that i've wake up from my dream of procrastinating! Right now, i've make a strong choice on which course to take up, the school that i wanna go to and which faculty.

Lesson learnt: Everyone of us make 2,000 choices everyday. It doesnt matter how many choices you made, how many wise ones have you made today?
